		<description>Above article describes quite well how we are handling our 3M&#039;s &quot;cross dock&quot; or like we call it &quot;reship&quot; shipments. 

Additional benefits are obtained while:
.light weight pallets are double stacked on (strong) heavy weight AND/OR
.very high mixed (customers/products) pallets are build to be transported over long distances  (locally shipments are again reconstructed via scanning operations) AND/OR
. goods are combined with other shippers compatible goods originating in the same geographical area AND/OR
. all volume is included in this operation (raw material, semi finished, purchased vendors items,etc)
  
The saving potential for our companies are very substantial and so are the CO2 emissions.
Difficult to understand why this is not a &quot;MUST DO&quot; priority for our companies with an extensive supply and demand network.

We are looking for collaboration with other companies to establish European wide &quot;order reconstruction processes and standards&quot; and combine compatible material flows.
