Route-to-Market Workshop in Rwanda Focused on Small Groceries

Situation:

A consumer goods company in Rwanda was eager to improve its distribution in small groceries. The company wanted an external view on distribution model options in similar markets. The company sought The Supply Chain Lab’s technical expertise to conduct a workshop, focused on Route-to-Market model options and key issues to consider.

Approach:

The Supply Chain Lab presented several models to the client during the workshop. The presentation took into consideration channel landscape, category mix, selection criteria, model design, financial modelling, human resources and implementation.  The presentation included key success factors and market characteristics to consider. 

  

Results:

The client used the presented models as the foundation for designing their Route-to-Market strategy in small groceries.
